A wonderful short class to introduce you to the joy of mini Bento style cakes! 

What we will cover:

  • How to stack / cover a mini sponge cake
  • The perfect buttercream recipe for lovely smooth piping and decorating.
  • How to prepare and use buttercream to cover your cake and cupcakes smoothly
  • Colouring your buttercream in complimentary tones
  • Use large and co-ordinating mini piping nozzles to create beautiful matching piped decorations on your cakes and cupcakes
  • Using cutters and moulds for perfect decorative elements

You'll take home a beautiful box featuring a delightful themed mini cake and four matching cupcakes in your own chosen colour scheme.

All the equipment, tools and edible materials you need will be provided for you to use during the class.

We will provide as much tea, coffee and soft drinks as you would like throughout the day, however, if you have a particular preference, you are of course welcome to bring your own refreshments. 

Please let us know if you would like gluten / wheat free cakes prepared for you to work on.

Please note: This course does not include baking of cupcakes or making of icing / buttercream - these will be provided for you on the day and will be lovingly pre-made for you in the CakeyBake home kitchen (which has been inspected and approved by Tunbridge Wells Borough Council Environmental Health Office)

 

Cancellations Policy: 

Class bookings are non-refundable. If you cancel before 14 days in advance of a class, you will receive a credit to the value of your class (less booking fee) for a future class.

If you cancel within 14 days of a class taking place, we offer a 50% credit towards a future class.

If you cancel within 7 days of a class taking plce, no credit will be given.
