A wonderful short course to introduce you to the joy of piping glorious buttercream cupcakes!

What we will cover:

  • How to make the perfect cupcakes: we'll discuss the key tips and tricks for making a flat and perfect top on your cupcakes to create a perfect canvas for decorating.
  • The perfect buttercream recipe for lovely smooth piping and decorating.
  • How to pipe different styles and techniques using three different piping nozzles.
  • How to work with buttercream and colour to achieve beautiful mixed colour piping.

You'll have lots of time and encouragement to practise your new skills and will then 'go live' on nine cupcakes to perfect your technique.

You'll take home a beautiful box of nine gorgeous cupcakes and a newfound skill that you'll be delighted to show off!

All the equipment, tools and edible materials you need will be provided for you to use during the class.

We will provide as much tea, coffee and soft drinks as you would like throughout the day, however, if you have a particular preference, you are of course welcome to bring your own refreshments. 

Please let us know if you would like gluten / wheat free cakes prepared for you to work on.

Please note: This course does not include baking of cupcakes or making of icing / buttercream - these will be provided for you on the day and will be lovingly pre-made for you in the CakeyBake home kitchen (which has been inspected and approved by Tunbridge Wells Borough Council Environmental Health Office)

 

Cancellations Policy: 

Class bookings are non-refundable. If you cancel before 14 days in advance of a class, you will receive a credit to the value of your class (less booking fee) for a future class.

If you cancel within 14 days of a class taking place, we offer a 50% credit towards a future class.

If you cancel within 7 days of a class taking plce, no credit will be given.
