Pre-school Christmas Cupcake Class

I'm so excited to welcome you to my beautiful studio for a small and perfect Christmas Cupcake Class with your little ones!

We'll be creating two cupcakes featuring familiar Christmas characters (a snowman and Rudolf), using lots of wonderful techniques to leave your children feeling accomplished and proud of their work.

This class will feature lots of simple and effective cake decorating skills including:

• cutting sugarpaste
• mixing colours
• using different shaped cutters
• using tools and moulds for making patterns
• making facial features using edible treats

Each child will go home with two beautiful boxed Christmas cupcakes and a special Christmas Certificate of their achievement. 

This class will take place at my Cake School at the Hop Farm in Paddock Wood, Kent. 

Allergies:

We can provide gluten / dairy free ingredients on this class - please let us know your requirements at the time of booking in the 'instructions' section on checkout.

Please note, however, that our school hosts classes that contain wheat, gluten, dairy, and eggs and the premises cannot be guaranteed free from these ingredients. If your child has extreme allergies, we do not recomend attending a class. 

A bit more about my Children's Classes:

My classes are ALWAYS really interactive - demonstrations are made of each individual step of each deisgn and lots of help given to those who need it. 

Classes are suitable for all personalities of children - please don't worry if you have a quiet (or noisy!) child - they'll be accommodated and made to feel welcome and happy!

The classes are relaxed and fun - they are always one-off designs which means children may have to share specialist cutters and equipment and take turns - this is gently explained to them - please bear this in mind as a parent that sometimes things take a little longer - the class is timed and planned to allow for this - I hope you can enjoy the 1:1 time with your child and love the class :o) 

IMPORTANT BOOKING INFORMATION:

These classes are aimed at children aged 3-4 years. Whilst we do not expect your children to have 'cake' experience, please consider your own child's capabilities before booking - some children naturally have a shorter attention span and are not so well suited to this type of class.

An adult must attend with the child to assist and encourage throughout the class. You do not need to book or pay for the adult attending - just the children who will be taking part - a maximum of one adult per child will be permitted as our teaching space is very small at the Oast.

A maximum of two children may attend with one parent/carer.

Our studio table is a high table with bar-stool style chairs (you can find photographs by clicking here). We will provide cushions for this class to ensure your child is comfortable, and you will be required to stand alongside them to assist them throughout the class. Please only book your space if you are happy with this style of seating for your child.  We limit the number of children per pre-school class to just 8 per class to ensure you are all comfortable and have enough space to work together :)

Cancellation Policy:

Class bookings are non-refundable. If you cancel before 14 days in advance of a class, you will receive a credit to the value of your class (less a £10 booking fee) for a future class.

If you cancel within 14 days of a class taking place, we offer a 50% credit towards a future class, less a £6 booking fee.

If you cancel within 7 days of a class taking place, no credit will be given.

Please ensure you are able to attend on the date and time of the class you book.
